The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) in collaboration with the Madurai District Tiny & Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) has set up an industrial clinic for the benefit of all entrepreneurs in the Southern Districts of Tamilnadu. The clinic provides consultations and counseling services to tiny and small scale industrialists in the Southern District in the areas of income tax, sales tax, central excise, labour-law, provident fund, ESI, pollution control, energy conservation, power supply, exports and imports, quality management and financing new projects. Experts drawn from these fields provide clarifications on statutory requirements and procedures, help fill up application forms and provide guidance on specific problems.
